Salary: USD 128,500 - 192,700 / annual

F5 is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Office of the CISO and lead strategic enterprise-wide security transformation initiatives. This role owns program strategy, development, and execution of complex, cross-functional programs spanning people, process, and technology across the organization. Key responsibilities include: defining clear program outcomes, scope, and success criteria aligned with business objectives; designing and maintaining comprehensive program execution plans and roadmaps; identifying and monitoring workstreams across multiple business functions; establishing team structures and providing direction to project leads; creating and tracking KPIs and measures of success; partnering with Change Management on adoption strategies; establishing governance structures and mitigating risks; facilitating communication and collaboration across business units; serving as escalation point for risks and issues; providing regular stakeholder and leadership updates; designing executive-level presentations; and ensuring adherence to program management best practices. The ideal candidate brings strong program and project management expertise (waterfall, agile, kanban), strategic planning and resource allocation experience, proficiency with program management tools, high emotional intelligence, and excellent cross-functional communication skills. Must demonstrate analytical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and ability to synthesize complex information. Strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise processes—particularly across Product, Engineering, Customer Support, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Technology Services, and Finance—is essential. The role requires balancing strategic thinking with tactical execution in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities. Required: Bachelor's degree, 8+ years program management experience at technology companies or in technical domains, proven track record leading complex, high-impact projects. Strongly preferred: MBA, PMP/PgMP certification, experience managing complex cybersecurity programs across engineering and product organizations.
