ShieldIOT is an IoT security startup seeking a Security Expert to lead the design and development of its IoT cybersecurity product and serve as the focal point for cybersecurity across the organization.
In this role, you will be responsible for building security models, analyzing communication data, and identifying cyber attack patterns. You will interface with Engineering, Data Analysts, Customers, and other functional teams to deliver technical security solutions with a product perspective. Your work will involve designing and architecting a breakthrough IoT security platform while demonstrating strong hands-on expertise across multiple security domains.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading security architecture, design, and development of the IoT security product
- Conducting research and design for security solutions
- Analyzing network traffic and identifying cyber attack patterns
- Collaborating across Engineering, Data, and Customer-facing teams
- Influencing and directing workgroups to achieve security objectives
- Applying security tools and technologies to product development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or related field; or equivalent job experience
- 3+ years of direct experience in Security Architecture or Senior Security Engineering in a progressive technology setting
- 3+ years of technical Security subject matter expertise in multiple areas such as Network Security, Endpoint Security, IoT security, OT security, or Cloud Security
- Strong hands-on experience with network traffic analysis and identifying cyber attack patterns
- Extensive experience with security tools including Firewalls, NGAV, EDR, SIEM, GPO, Proxy, SSO, MFA, IPS, DLP, and similar platforms
- Ability to lead, influence, motivate, and direct workgroups to achieve results
- Excellent communication and research skills
- Fluent English speaker
