You will join as a Security Engineer reporting to the Head of Security, working closely with backend, firmware, data engineers, R&D, and clinical teams. This is a generalist security role with real ownership from day one, covering multiple areas of the security program: corporate IT, identity, AI security, enterprise, and cloud infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Google Workspace administration, device management, and SaaS access lifecycle (onboarding, offboarding, access reviews)
- Compliance automation using code and tools like Vanta, with custom test extensions and evidence collection
- Vulnerability and endpoint management across the corporate fleet
- Building processes for secure and ethical AI deployment to minimize shadow IT
- Security triage, internal tool reviews, and incident response
- Scripting and automation to eliminate manual, repetitive security tasks
- Partnering with internal teams to enable business goals securely

REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years in security and/or IT engineering, including time on a small team where you owned diverse responsibilities
- AI-first mindset and comfort with AI-powered tools for scaling
- Experience operating a SIEM (Datadog Cloud SIEM, Panther, Splunk, Elastic, or similar)
- Corporate IT fluency: Google Workspace administration, MDM, identity lifecycle management
- Scripting ability in Python or similar language
- Strong security writing and documentation skills (triage notes, runbooks, audit evidence)
BONUS:
- Vanta or Drata ownership through a complete audit cycle (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA)
- Experience in regulated or health-adjacent environments
- Incident response experience beyond tabletop exercises
