The Expert Insights group, which includes the Expert Transcript Library and 1x1 Call Services, generates thousands of expert interviews quarterly. The Directed Content Team identifies, recruits, and onboards experts to ensure comprehensive sector coverage and highest-quality transcripts.
As Sector Lead for Energy & Industrials, you will oversee day-to-day execution of Directed Content projects for EMEA and APAC companies, reporting to the Director of Research. You will manage a team of Project Managers responsible for generating expert call transcripts, ensuring all work meets quality, relevance, and end-user value standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with the Director of Research to develop and execute a strategic sector roadmap aligned with market and client priorities
- Managing and mentoring Project Managers, setting clear goals, tracking KPIs, and ensuring accountability
- Collaborating with Operations Managers to align operational KPIs with coverage strategy
- Owning expert budget management and resource allocation to maximize content ROI
- Overseeing structured QA processes for transcript accuracy, relevance, structure, and analytical depth
- Monitoring engagement data to identify coverage gaps and recalibrate project pipelines
- Supporting revenue-generating efforts such as white papers, webinars, and presentations
- Establishing feedback loops with call takers and project teams to enhance content quality
- Collaborating with North America teams to ensure consistency and quality
- Partnering with Operations and Product teams to pilot AI-enabled tools that improve efficiency
- Maintaining deep familiarity with Energy & Industrials sector developments and emerging themes
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in equity research, market intelligence, consulting, or related analytical role within Energy & Industrials
- Deep domain expertise in Energy & Industrials with strong grasp of key players, business models, and industry trends
- Strong understanding of European and Asian equity markets
- Proven people management experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams of project managers or analysts
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable research projects yielding high-impact insights
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills; ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining quality
- Strong command of project economics, budget management, expert cost optimization, and ROI tracking
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with Directors of Research, Go-to-Market, Product, and Compliance
- Intellectual curiosity, client orientation, and comfort in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Strong understanding of compliance, MNPI, and confidentiality standards
