As Supply Chain Project Lead, you will own end-to-end supply chain execution for assigned projects, serving as the primary focal point for all supply chain topics within your assigned portfolio. You will be accountable for ensuring material readiness, cost alignment, and on-time delivery in close coordination with cross-functional teams, with a critical mandate that supply chain execution does not delay project milestones.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead all supply chain activities from planning through delivery, ensuring material availability aligns with project timelines and milestones
• Plan material requirements based on BOM, demand forecasts, and project schedules
• Create and manage Purchase Requests (PRs) for procurement execution
• Monitor and control open orders, deliveries, and shortages in real time
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Procurement, Logistics, NPI (New Product Introduction), and Commercial SCM teams
• Identify, escalate, and mitigate supply chain risks including lead time constraints, material shortages, end-of-life (EOL) components, and supplier constraints
• Provide accurate delivery commitments and status updates to stakeholders
• Support project planning, scheduling, and prioritization from a supply chain perspective
• Ensure alignment between project requirements and supply chain capabilities
• Maintain high data accuracy in ERP systems (items, orders, statuses, dates)
This role requires strong project management discipline, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to navigate complex supply chains in a defense technology environment.
