Precision Medicine Group seeks a Scientist to lead flow cytometry projects through assay development, validation, and execution. You will perform assays according to SOPs, support development of new procedures, and improve existing protocols. This role involves designing and executing experiments independently, analyzing and presenting data with high accuracy, and troubleshooting routine scientific issues. Key responsibilities include: - Perform flow cytometry and other immune assays (ELISpot, ELISA, MSD) - Design and execute experiments independently with accurate data analysis and presentation - Establish and improve laboratory procedures and SOP documentation - Troubleshoot and resolve routine scientific problems - Identify, update, and implement emerging laboratory techniques - Maintain safe lab practices and environment - Collaborate with technical teams on resource sharing and technical expertise - Support equipment operational qualifications and performance checks - Monitor product and R&D project expenses - Act as scientific resource for clients and internal teams - Assist with writing, reviewing, and editing contract and grant applications - Support scientific publication efforts and present work at scientific meetings Requirements: Minimum: Master's degree in life sciences or relevant field; 5 years of relevant laboratory experience. Must have expert-level flow cytometry skills using whole blood and isolated cells; demonstrated skills in cell-mediated immunity monitoring via flow cytometry, ELISpot, ELISA, and MSD; excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to organize and analyze data and prepare reports; strong computational skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GraphPad Prism, Diva, FlowJo); excellent judgment and discretion; ability to work extended hours when needed; ability to differentiate colors across full spectrum; ability to lift and carry 1-15 lbs, up to 50 lbs overhead with assistance; fluent English (read, write, speak, comprehend). Preferred: Understanding of GLP or CAP/CLIA/ISO standards; demonstrated skills with immunophenotyping assays including primary cell-based assays; experience with cell sorting techniques.
