Salary: USD 177,000 - 201,000 / annual
Muon Space, a space systems provider founded in 2021, seeks a SAP Implementation Manager to lead a greenfield migration of financial tools and processes to SAP S/4HANA. You will join the Information Systems team, which owns the comprehensive suite of custom software, vendor platforms, data systems, and automated tools enabling rapid development, efficient manufacturing, and flawless launch operations.
Key responsibilities include leading the end-to-end SAP implementation from scratch to full deployment, establishing project governance and steering committee structures, and managing executive reporting processes. You will coordinate internal teams and external resources, communicate effectively across all organizational levels from board members to line IT/finance personnel, and maintain strict scope discipline while unblocking inevitable challenges.
You will also support the deployment and integration of foundational systems including custom ERP, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), and Supply Chain solutions to automate inter-functional handoffs and ensure seamless connectivity across the organization.
The role requires executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to reduce friction by deeply understanding tools, products, people, and processes. You'll work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where new challenges emerge weekly.
This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week on-site at the San Jose, CA office.
