IonQ is seeking a Salesforce Administrator, Federal to join its Revenue Operations team. The role focuses on administering IonQ's Salesforce Government Cloud environment, which supports the company's federal business operations.
Key responsibilities include owning the health, configuration, and compliance posture of the Salesforce Government Cloud org, ensuring it meets FedRAMP and CUI handling requirements. You will provision and deprovision user access, managing profiles, permission sets, roles, and license assignments according to least-privilege and federal access-governance standards.
The role involves building and delivering enhancements using declarative Salesforce tools including flows, validation rules, record types, page layouts, and dynamic forms. You'll coordinate managed-package and integration changes within GovCloud constraints and design, build, and maintain reports and dashboards for federal sales, operations, and compliance stakeholders.
Routine platform maintenance responsibilities include data-quality management, deduplication, sandbox and release management, and evaluation of seasonal Salesforce updates before production deployment. You will support Salesforce Shield controls such as platform encryption, event monitoring, and field audit trails, and produce access reviews and evidence required for CMMC, NIST 800-171, and internal audit compliance.
The ideal candidate is meticulous about access control and data integrity, comfortable operating in a regulated environment, and able to work independently in a fast-moving, resource-constrained team. Up to 10% travel may be required. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on federal compliance and platform governance.
