As Sales Strategy and Operations Manager, you will lead the Sales Compensation team and drive cross-functional initiatives that enable the sales organization to operate more efficiently and strategically. This is a hands-on role that balances day-to-day execution with long-term process building.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead and manage a team of 3 associates and senior associates, running monthly, quarterly, and annual compensation cycles across all sales roles, regions, and segments
• Drive quota-setting planning and implementation across various roles, geographies, and segments
• Develop ongoing and ad hoc reporting for business reviews and provide insights to inform strategic decisions
• Partner with business stakeholders to develop, implement, and operationalize sales compensation planning
• Identify and implement workflow and process improvements in Salesforce and related tools to enhance efficiency and visibility
• Serve as a critical business partner providing day-to-day support on compensation data, system processes, and approval flows
• Work across Salesforce, Google Sheets, Excel, and BigQuery while collaborating with sales, marketing, ops, product, finance, and other teams
You are a high-impact self-starter who takes initiative on complex problems and can operate independently with minimal guidance. You have strong analytical skills, excel at data-driven decision-making, and are comfortable with Excel and preferably sales compensation tools like CaptivateIQ. You think operationally, can document processes clearly for diverse audiences, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This role requires 5 days/week on-site presence in San Mateo.
