You will be the first dedicated sales operations hire on the enterprise team, reporting to the Chief Business Officer. Your primary mission is to remove operational friction from the sales process, with a specific focus on reducing days spent in contracting—the current bottleneck in enterprise deal velocity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the CRM as the single source of truth, managing stage definitions, exit criteria, data hygiene, and leadership dashboards
- Run the deal desk, including pricing approval routing, statement of work drafting, SLA templates, and redline tracking across concurrent deals
- Manage diligence and security questionnaires end-to-end, coordinating responses from security, compliance, clinical, and engineering teams so sellers never chase answers
- Drive procurement and legal follow-through on both sides, escalating when deals stall
- Build and run weekly pipeline reviews and monthly board pipeline packs
- Own forecast hygiene and report on forecast accuracy to ensure leadership commitments are reliable
- Create deal records that implementation and customer success teams inherit at signature, covering scope, pricing, and service commitments
- Automate repeating processes to maximize efficiency
This is a high-autonomy role with no inherited playbook—you will build the operational foundation for the enterprise organization from the ground up.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4–7 years in sales operations, revenue operations, deal desk, or business operations at a B2B company with real enterprise deals
- Fluent in a modern CRM and comfortable owning configuration yourself rather than filing tickets
- Personal experience running diligence or security questionnaire responses, or managing complex enterprise procurement to close
- Strong analytical skills; excellent with spreadsheets; comfortable writing SQL or willing to learn
- Unusually organized with clear writing skills; much of the role involves ensuring documents say exactly what they need to say
- Comfortable operating as the only operations person with high autonomy and minimal specifications
- Based in New York City or willing to relocate
NICE TO HAVE:
- Enterprise sales operations experience in healthcare or another regulated industry (BAAs, DUAs, security reviews)
- Experience with CPQ or contract lifecycle management tools
- Experience with BI tooling and building reporting off a data warehouse
- Track record of standing up a deal desk or partner reporting function from scratch
- Exposure to implementation or post-sales functions
