Motorway is the UK's largest online car-selling platform, connecting private sellers with over 8,000 dealers nationwide. The company has raised £143 million in Series C funding and is transforming how businesses and individuals manage lease vehicle returns.
You'll join the Enterprise Operations Team as a Sales Operations Coordinator, serving as the primary point of contact for enterprise lease customers throughout their vehicle return and inspection journey. This is a generalist operations role managing the complete end-to-end sales process from initial vehicle appraisal through final inspection and collection.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as primary contact for enterprise lease customers via phone (inbound/outbound), email, and WhatsApp, guiding them through vehicle returns and inspections
- Conducting structured, scripted customer calls to verify identity, review inspections, confirm eligibility, and set clear expectations
- Managing vehicle profiling by gathering and validating details including mileage, service history, condition, and inspection photos
- Clearly explaining inspection outcomes, indicative charges, and collection processes to customers
- Coordinating collections by capturing preferred dates, confirming logistics, and recording transport details accurately
- Processing vehicles end-to-end from onboarding through sale readiness, post-sale support, and invoice creation
- Generating damage reports, handling customer queries, and assisting with post-sale updates
- Communicating directly with dealers on post-sale renegotiations, assessing damage or grading changes, and resolving outcomes within defined thresholds
- Maintaining operational accuracy across systems, trackers, and dashboards to meet quality, compliance, and SLA standards
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Transport, B2B Sales, and Strategic Account teams
- Working toward quality, productivity, and customer experience targets
You're confident on the phone and in writing, calm and professional when handling structured processes or sensitive conversations, highly organized across multiple workflows, a quick learner who applies guidelines confidently and knows when to escalate, and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced operational environments.
