Salary: EUR 38,000 - 38,500 / annual
Roadsurfer, Europe's largest campervan rental company, is seeking a Station Manager to lead operations at their Rome location. This is a hands-on management role responsible for establishing and overseeing day-to-day station operations, including vehicle fleet management, process optimization, and team leadership.
Key responsibilities include: leading and motivating an on-site team through onboarding, task planning, and quality control; managing recruitment to build the local team; overseeing the local vehicle fleet for rental and sales, including documentation, maintenance, and coordination with service partners; implementing and optimizing existing processes while contributing improvements; maintaining communication with international teams; and providing customer consultation on roadsurfer products (rent, abo, spots, sales).
You will work closely with central departments to ensure smooth operations, coordinate vehicle returns and handovers, and maintain high service standards. The role requires independent leadership while collaborating across the organization.
Required qualifications: completed training or studies in a relevant field or comparable experience; 2-3 years of relevant work experience in car rental, tourism, or similar industries (career changers welcome); experience leading employees or teams is advantageous; excellent English and fluent Italian; Class B driver's license; strong customer orientation, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities.
