Greptile is hiring its first Revenue Operations professional to build and scale the systems, data, and processes behind the revenue organization. Reporting directly to the CRO, this role blends operational excellence with strategic thinking—approximately 70% operations and 30% revenue strategy.
Key responsibilities include owning the CRM and GTM systems stack end-to-end (architecture, data integrity, routing, integrations, vendor management); designing and administering quota, territory, and compensation plans; building and maintaining the revenue forecast process that feeds to the CEO and board; measuring and optimizing the full sales funnel from first touch through closed-won; supporting the field through deal desk, reporting, and process automation; building annual and quarterly revenue plans using bottoms-up capacity models; assessing markets and defining Greptile's ideal customer profile; and collaborating with Finance on GTM investment scenarios.
The ideal candidate brings 4–8 years of experience combining top-tier strategy consulting (BCG, McKinsey, Bain, or equivalent) with operating experience at a high-growth technology company. You should be comfortable writing SQL, building financial models, and extracting insights independently from data. Deep hands-on knowledge of modern CRM and GTM tooling is essential—you've architected stacks, not just used them. A track record of building revenue processes from scratch (forecasting, compensation, territory models) is required. You thrive in ambiguity, maintain low ego about execution work, and are energized by roles spanning strategy and hands-on delivery. Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate.
Nice-to-haves include sales or support experience in engineering/developer-tools markets, exposure to both product-led and enterprise motions, being a first RevOps hire, and early-stage AI company experience.
Greptile reviews 5 billion lines of code monthly for 22,000+ customers across YC startups, big tech, finance, healthcare, and defense. The company has scaled to 8-figure ARR and raised $30M from Benchmark, Y Combinator, Paul Graham, and Initialized. The team is small, talent-dense, and includes alumni from Stripe, Google, Figma, and LinkedIn.
