Crux is a capital platform modernizing how clean energy and critical infrastructure projects raise and deploy capital. The company combines advisory, investments, technology, and intelligence to streamline traditionally opaque project financing. With $77M in venture funding from top-tier investors (Andreessen Horowitz, Lowercarbon Capital, etc.) and a $500M debt facility from Nuveen, Crux has closed 120+ transactions in two years, facilitating billions in capital deployment to renewables. As Revenue Strategy & Insights Lead, you'll join the Operations team to diagnose and fix bottlenecks in Crux's go-to-market motion across three business lines: Transferable Tax Credits, Debt, and Investments. This is a high-impact operating role requiring deep financial fluency and commercial credibility. Key responsibilities include: mapping the full GTM funnel to identify conversion blockers and stalls; diagnosing root causes of deal slowdowns at cross-functional handoff points; prioritizing 2–3 high-leverage process improvements backed by data; partnering with BizOps and Product to design and build tooling solutions; bringing external perspective on what strong commercial motions look like; embedding with commercial teams to understand deals firsthand; and developing fluency in both GTM strategy and energy finance. You'll need 5–10 years in analytically rigorous environments (finance, investing, management consulting, or operations), with demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives, working with complex financial products or enterprise software, identifying root causes, designing operational processes in high-growth settings, and influencing stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Product, and Engineering. Bonus experience includes pipeline management, RevOps, or tech/fintech background. Crux operates remote-first across the US and Canada with optional offices in DC, NYC, Bay Area, Seattle, Denver, Boston, and LA. The culture emphasizes high growth, high ownership, and combining financial services expertise with cutting-edge technology and AI applications.
