Traversal is an AI Site Reliability Engineer (AI SRE) platform for enterprises, autonomously diagnosing, fixing, and preventing production incidents in complex environments. The company is backed by Sequoia Capital, Kleiner Perkins, and other top-tier investors, with a team of researchers from MIT, Harvard, Berkeley, Columbia, and Cornell alongside operators from Google, Meta, Datadog, and ServiceNow. As a Revenue Operations individual contributor, you will be a force multiplier across the GTM organization, owning problems end-to-end from diagnosis through implementation. This is a broad-scoped role requiring fluidity across systems administration, analytics, forecasting, process design, and sales compensation support. Key responsibilities include: Systems & Data: Administer and improve Salesforce (objects, automation, validation rules, data quality) in partnership with the broader GTM stack (Claude, Clay, Apollo, Clari, Gong, Granola). Own integration health, investigate sync errors and validation conflicts, and maintain reporting infrastructure and dashboards for sales leadership and executives. Analytics & Forecasting: Build and maintain pipeline, forecast models, capacity plans, and performance dashboards (cycle time, pipeline coverage, conversion rates). Partner with sales leadership on board and leadership-level materials. Analyze funnel and rep performance to surface trends, risks, and opportunities. Process & GTM Strategy: Build the analytics layer powering GTM decision-making. Set standards for analyzing regional pipeline health, win/loss trends, and rep productivity. Partner with field leadership to diagnose gaps and drive structured plans. Design and document processes clarifying handoffs across Sales, Marketing Ops, and Finance Ops. Support territory design, account segmentation, and capacity modeling aligned to 2-year growth projections. Set point of view on competitive dynamics and expansion priorities. Sales Compensation & Planning: Support design and administration of compensation plans (quotas, commissions, SPIFFs), ensuring accuracy and compliance. Resolve comp-related questions with data-backed answers. AI-Enabled Ways of Working: Use AI tools (Claude and similar) as core RevOps toolkit—automating recurring analysis, drafting documentation, and prototyping solutions faster than manual approaches. REQUIREMENTS: - 7+ years in Revenue/Sales Operations, Business Operations, or related analytical role, ideally at B2B SaaS - Deep hands-on Salesforce expertise (administration, automation, reporting)—ability to build and troubleshoot, not just spec requirements - Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with experience building forecast, capacity, or compensation models - Demonstrated ability to work independently across ambiguous, cross-functional problems and drive to resolution - Excellent communication skills—comfortable presenting analysis and recommendations to senior leadership - Experience with modern GTM stack (Salesforce plus Clay, Clari, Gong, Apollo, or similar) NICE TO HAVE: - Experience at early-stage or high-growth startup building RevOps from scratch - Exposure to enterprise/strategic sales motions and long-cycle, multi-stakeholder deals - Design and run structured experiments to test new GTM approaches
