Modal Labs is seeking a Revenue Operations Manager to own the entire revenue operations function for a high-growth AI infrastructure company. You'll report to the Head of Finance & People Ops and work closely with sales leadership to build systems, dashboards, and processes that scale Modal's go-to-market motion.
Key responsibilities include: owning lead routing from inbound through partnership with marketing; running territory management and geo-based decisioning strategy; supporting capacity forecasting and inputs/outputs as the conduit to finance; contributing to compensation strategy and benchmarking; evaluating new tools to improve sales team efficiency; building and maintaining dashboards, leaderboards, and pipeline reporting for real-time leadership visibility; monitoring deal progression and CRM hygiene; supporting deal reviews at pricing and negotiation stages; owning the closed-won process from signature through post-sale handoff; and administering commission plans across the sales organization with accurate, timely calculations.
You'll need 3–7 years in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations at a high-growth, usage-based sales organization. You must have built core GTM infrastructure (lead routing, CRM architecture, pipeline reporting, commission administration, deal desk) and have deep proficiency in workflows, lifecycle stages, custom properties, and data hygiene. End-to-end commission ownership is essential—building models, calculating payouts, handling rep disputes, and reconciling with Finance. Deal desk experience is required; you know what makes contracts clean and catch errors early. You're strong in Excel or Google Sheets, can build pipeline coverage models, and understand which metrics matter. You've earned sales team trust by making their lives easier while holding them accountable to process.
Modal recently raised $355M Series C at $4.65B valuation and has crossed $300M+ ARR. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone with a builder's mindset, bias for action, and ability to think strategically while staying close to execution. An AI-forward mindset and active use of AI in work is valued.
