Rubrik, a publicly traded Security and AI Operations Company, is seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Manager to join its global Revenue Accounting team in Palo Alto. This is a high-visibility individual contributor role responsible for the end-to-end revenue recognition lifecycle for a multi-entity SaaS business.
The role combines deep technical expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition with strong revenue operations acumen. You will be equally comfortable writing position memos on complex, non-standard multi-element arrangements, troubleshooting revenue arrangements in NetSuite ARM, and partnering with operations on new product introductions and system UAT. The team is building an AI-driven culture, and you will proactively identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to revenue accounting workflows, test outputs for accuracy, and adopt new tools as capabilities evolve.
Key responsibilities include executing monthly accounting activities in NetSuite (journal entries, reconciliations), preparing supporting schedules and flux analysis for revenue and deferred revenue movements, preparing deal and contract summaries for significant transactions under ASC 606, and assisting with operationalizing new sales models. You will own Standalone Selling Price (SSP) compliance, lead the new product introduction (NPI) process for revenue, execute SOX controls over revenue, respond to ad hoc cross-functional data requests, support revenue accounting and order-to-cash projects, and assist with UAT and post-launch validation for new products and services.
The role reports to Palo Alto HQ on a hybrid basis (3 days per week in office).
Rubrik's Security Cloud delivers complete cyber resilience by securing, monitoring, and recovering data, identities, and workloads across clouds. The company also offers Rubrik Agent Cloud, which accelerates trusted AI agent deployments at scale by monitoring and auditing agentic actions, enforcing real-time guardrails, and fine-tuning for accuracy.

- Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and Tableau a plus
- Proven ability to manipulate large data sets to uncover trends and make recommendations
- Demonstrated experience executing revenue close, reconciliations, flux analysis, and SOX controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and clear communication
- Self-starter and team player who thrives in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments
