Nutanix is seeking an experienced Services Consultant to join its Services Delivery team in Singapore. This role combines day-one virtualization consulting with day-two operations support, positioning you as a key technical leader for enterprise cloud infrastructure implementations.
You will work directly with customer IT teams (both onsite and remote) to deliver Nutanix implementations and provide ongoing virtual infrastructure operations support. Your responsibilities include clarifying customer IT objectives, aligning strategic implementations with business goals, and leveraging Nutanix products and best practices to accelerate adoption. You'll collaborate with architects and subject matter experts to blend Nutanix IP into customer environments, proactively identify improvement opportunities, and work with the sales team to identify new business opportunities.
The role requires 10+ years of system administration and virtualization experience, with deep expertise in Nutanix AOS/AHV, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, or similar converged/hyperconverged platforms. You must be able to independently analyze and diagnose complex multi-platform issues, demonstrate strong customer-centric communication, and have hands-on experience with workload migration (P2V, V2V), storage technologies, data protection (replication, snapshots, backup/restore), and automation scripting (Python/PowerShell preferred).
Mandatory certifications include VMware VCP/VCAP or Nutanix Certified Professional – Multi-cloud Infrastructure. Desired certifications include Nutanix Certified Professional – Multi-cloud Automation and Nutanix Certified Master – Multi-cloud Infrastructure; the company will support certification development.
You'll work in a hybrid model (2-3 days/week in office when not at customer sites) with 20-40% travel to domestic client sites and occasional international travel for team events and training. You'll report to the Senior Manager of Professional Services and be part of a collaborative global team focused on delivering exceptional customer value and accelerating ROI.
