OpenGov is seeking a Renewals Operations Analyst to join the Commercial Operations Team. This role is central to developing and executing renewal and outreach strategies for a fast-paced SaaS company serving 2,000+ local and state government organizations across the U.S.
Key responsibilities include executing a comprehensive renewals playbook to streamline the renewal process and improve customer retention. You will collaborate closely with Customer Success and Sales teams to create targeted outreach and engagement campaigns that ensure timely renewals. The role involves preparing pricing schedules, negotiating pricing with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements, and working with internal Legal and Finance teams to draft and execute renewal contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies.
You will maintain and update accurate renewals forecasts, proactively identifying potential risks or challenges, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop effective resolution strategies. Cross-functional collaboration is essential, gathering documentation and resources needed to maintain organizational performance metrics.
The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 1 year of experience in Sales, Account Management, Deal Desk, or Customer Success, preferably within small to later-stage SaaS companies. You should demonstrate proficiency in contract verification, data integrity management, and reviewing terms and conditions. Strong ability to manage deal desk requests and lead renewal/commercial negotiation discussions is required. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical enterprise users. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is highly preferred.
