Impulse Space seeks a Reliability Engineer to develop and lead a comprehensive site-wide reliability program for critical facilities infrastructure and equipment. This role partners closely with Maintenance, Facilities Engineering, and Production teams to maximize uptime, availability, and lifecycle value of mission-critical systems. Key responsibilities include owning the development and continuous improvement of the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, asset criticality frameworks, and reliability metrics. You will design systems and processes that scale with rapid production growth, equipment changes, and multi-site expansion. Specific deliverables include: implementing and improving the site CMMS with asset hierarchies, equipment records, PM programs, work orders, and spare parts management; developing standardized preventive and predictive maintenance strategies deployable across multiple facilities; defining reliability and maintainability requirements for new equipment and infrastructure; establishing asset criticality assessments and maintenance priorities based on operational impact, safety, and cost; supporting deployment of condition-monitoring and predictive maintenance systems; monitoring equipment data and performance indicators with appropriate alarm thresholds; performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA); identifying opportunities for reliability improvements through engineering modifications; and tracking key metrics including uptime, PM compliance, MTBF, and MTTR. You will develop reliability standards, procedures, and best practices replicable across Impulse Space facilities, working in a fast-paced, high-reliability manufacturing and aerospace environment.
