Salary: USD 200,000 - 210,000 / annual
Veho is a Series B logistics and ecommerce fulfillment company building modern, end-to-end supply chain infrastructure for brands like HelloFresh, Zara, Macy's, and Sephora. The company's mission is to make shopping, shipping, and returns seamless through vertically integrated operations and next-generation technology.
As Regional Vice President of Ground Operations, you will lead Veho's ground operations network with comprehensive oversight of warehousing, sortation, logistics, and last-mile delivery. This is a strategic leadership role reporting to executive leadership, responsible for both tactical performance and long-term strategic evolution of operations and 3PL partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and executing long-term strategic vision and tactical operational plans for the ground operations network, ensuring alignment with company objectives and supporting rapid scalability
- Providing hands-on leadership across warehousing, sortation, logistics, and last-mile delivery, with focus on safety, quality, service, and productivity
- Driving strategic initiatives for network evaluation, expansion, capacity planning, and infrastructure development in a high-growth environment
- Championing a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement using data-driven operational methodologies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced technology, AI, and automation solutions
- Establishing and monitoring KPIs and financial metrics, providing executive-level reporting and insights
- Leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams, including managing leaders of leaders
- Overseeing risk management, safety culture, security protocols, regulatory compliance, and environmental standards
- Managing operational budgets and driving cost optimization while maintaining service quality
This role requires 50%+ travel and proximity to key Veho markets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related analytical field (MBA or Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in ground operations, warehousing, logistics, or last-mile delivery
- Proven track record of scaling operations in high-growth or startup environments
- Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic operational initiatives with measurable improvements in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service levels
- Deep expertise in logistics and supply chain management principles, with specific knowledge of last-mile delivery operations and network optimization
- Experience leveraging and implementing advanced logistics technology (WMS, TMS, automation, data analytics platforms)
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with ability to work in ambiguous situations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated ability to thrive and lead effectively in fast-paced, dynamic, evolving business environments
Preferred: Experience translating complex data into actionable insights; experience with AI/machine learning for logistics optimization; proximity or ability to relocate within driving distance of key Veho markets.
