Stord is a rapidly growing commerce-enablement platform that powers fulfillment, warehousing, and logistics for leading DTC and B2B brands. The company manages over $10 billion in commerce annually and is on track to double revenue in the next 18 months.
The Regional Safety, Compliance, and Loss Prevention Manager is a director-level operations role responsible for executing and continuously improving Stord's health, safety, security (HSS), and loss prevention programs across a defined region of fulfillment and warehouse facilities. Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety, and Security, this role translates enterprise standards into daily operational reality, drives consistent performance across sites, builds regional team capability, and owns measurable outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
**Team Leadership & Development**: Recruit, hire, and develop a regional team of site-level safety and loss prevention professionals. Set clear performance expectations, conduct coaching conversations, deliver structured feedback, and build a high-accountability, growth-oriented culture. Identify talent gaps and develop internal candidates for expanded roles.
**Safety Program Execution**: Deploy and sustain enterprise safety standards across all regional facilities. Conduct or oversee facility audits, gap assessments, and corrective action tracking. Lead incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis quality and timely closure. Represent the region in enterprise safety forums and coordinate peak readiness reviews.
**Loss Prevention & Asset Protection**: Own regional loss prevention strategy, including shrink reduction targets and security controls. Oversee internal investigations related to theft, fraud, and inventory discrepancy. Analyze loss trends and drive root cause resolution. Manage CCTV, access control, and physical security standards. Build relationships with carrier partners and law enforcement.
**Compliance & Risk Management**: Ensure regional compliance across OSHA, state regulations, and Stord internal standards. Serve as the regional decision-maker for incidents, investigations, and regulatory inquiries. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could result in financial loss, operational disruption, or asset damage.
The role is remote-eligible but requires being based in Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC, with 40-50% travel to regional facilities. Success is measured by regional safety performance, loss prevention effectiveness, compliance posture, and team strength.
