You will join as Regional Lead in Cameroon, reporting to the Country Launcher. This is a field-based management role overseeing all agent network acquisition and user growth operations for an assigned region (either Yaoundé/Bafoussam or Douala/Bertoua). You will supervise Field Officers and coordinate with agent admin teams to hit regional targets.
Key responsibilities include:
**Agent Operations:** Coordinate Field Officers to identify and acquire new agent locations per selection criteria. Ensure agents are recruited in compliance with legal and policy requirements, with executed contracts and proper training on KYC/AML/CTF procedures. Manage agent activation, training, and certification across all products. Monitor cash and e-value availability in liaison with liquidity teams. Track agent performance against targets, identify emerging issues, and manage agent closures with proper equipment recovery. Enforce legal, regulatory, and procedural compliance across all regional agents. Oversee brand asset execution and maintenance at agent locations.
**Growth & Distribution:** Manage a team of Field Officers who oversee field-based promoters responsible for recruiting new users. Identify and solve critical blockers to user growth; develop strategies to boost retention of newly acquired users. Hire, train, manage, and monitor distribution team members using data-driven decision-making. Serve as primary contact for agency networks and new users in your region, ensuring operational excellence, cost management, and regulatory compliance. Champion excellent customer service and quality service delivery standards. Collect, review, and analyze field operations data to formulate strategic recommendations and optimize regional performance.
This is a permanent contract role requiring work authorization in Cameroon. **Requirements:**
- Fluent in both English and French
- Master's degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, specifically managing an agent network and/or user acquisition in Cameroon
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing field-based teams
- Must have worked and overseen agent network activities in upcountry Cameroon
- Prior launch experience is desirable
