Flexport is a global logistics and freight forwarding platform that moves over $19B in merchandise annually across 112 countries. The company is seeking a Regional Implementation Manager to own and evolve Flexport's implementation methodology as its product suite expands.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and standardizing implementation playbooks across products and services. You'll drive implementation workflows independently, manage cross-functional projects end-to-end, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients from award through ramp to steady-state delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and evolve the implementation methodology, including task definitions, personas, ownership models, timelines, dependencies, and templates that scale across customers and new products.
- Take ownership of implementation gaps by building playbooks for new products or services proactively rather than waiting for direction.
- Partner with Sales and Operations teams to scope awarded business and build comprehensive implementation project plans.
- Align cross-functional teams (sales, account management, planning & ops, carrier relations, procurement, fulfillment, technical) to execute on commitments.
- Own the critical path and readiness to deliver what was sold on the agreed timeline.
- Adapt plans in real time as conditions change, turning learnings into improved service levels and quality.
- Report implementation status to leadership, flagging barriers early with mitigation plans.
- Close out implementations with project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
You'll need a BA/BS degree with 4+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, consulting, or freight forwarding. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who identifies process gaps and builds solutions independently, with a proven track record of scoping, planning, and closing client-facing cross-functional projects. Strong collaboration, communication, attention to detail, and a bias for delivering ahead of schedule are essential.
