Instructure is seeking an experienced Regional Director to lead sales efforts in a designated region. You will be responsible for selling to new clients, developing and executing regional sales strategies, and building long-term relationships with key decision-makers at educational institutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and closing new business in your assigned region
- Conducting detailed needs analysis and developing tailored proposals for enterprise clients
- Guiding prospects through the sales cycle to meet agreed timelines
- Building and maintaining relationships with multiple stakeholders within institutions, including C-level executives
- Developing sales strategies to expand the client pipeline and increase market share
- Accurately forecasting quarterly and annual performance against quota
- Partnering with peer Regional Directors and existing clients to generate referrals
- Maintaining accurate account records in Salesforce CRM
- Traveling up to 50% as needed to support regional sales efforts

Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of proven sales experience
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in SaaS or EdTech
- Experience selling complex enterprise-level software and SaaS solutions
- Experience selling at all levels, including C-suite and above
- Excellent strategic and consultative sales skills
- Ability to conduct detailed needs analysis and develop proposals
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- Understanding of educational pedagogy and LMS sales processes (preferred)
- Challenger Sales Methodology training (preferred)
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
