Nooks is an applied AI lab building the Agent Workspace for GTM, with AI agents that operate across the full sales action set—from account strategy to prospect research and outreach. The company has 1,500+ customers including Notion, HubSpot, Cursor, and Rippling, has raised $70M+ from top VCs like Kleiner Perkins, and has tripled ARR each year for three consecutive years.
As Recruiting Operations Manager, you will own the systems, programs, and infrastructure that enable Nooks' recruiting organization to scale. This is a highly cross-functional, high-ownership role sitting at the intersection of Recruiting, People, Marketing, and the broader business.
Key responsibilities include:
**Recruiting Operations:** Own recruiting processes, reporting, analytics, and operating rhythms. Turn recruiting data into insights and actionable improvements. Manage and optimize the recruiting technology and vendor ecosystem, including security, billing, adoption, and training. Research and implement new tools and technologies that improve recruiter productivity and candidate experience. Drive AI adoption across recruiting, including evaluating new use cases and implementing Nooks Agent. Lead strategic research projects to support data-driven recruiting decisions. Develop and strengthen Nooks' recruiting and employer brand with consistent messaging and tools. Create leverage across the recruiting team through better systems, automation, processes, and enablement.
**Talent Events & Programs:** Own or support talent-focused events and programs that strengthen Nooks' brand and talent pipeline, including hackathons, technical events, conferences, industry events, Nooks-hosted events and dinners, and university and community events. Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Recruiting, Engineering, and other teams to maximize impact.
**People Operations Partnership:** Partner with People Operations to ensure Recruiting and People processes scale together. Help implement and communicate new processes, identify when teams need training or enablement, improve cross-functional workflows, and support strategic People projects.
**University Programs:** Own and accelerate Nooks' university recruiting strategy with a focus on engineering talent. Build relationships with universities and technical communities, develop programs and events, measure results, and create a scalable pipeline of early-career talent.
**Requirements:**
- Experience in Recruiting Operations, Talent Operations, People Operations, Recruiting, Program Management, or a similar function
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Experience building processes or programs from the ground up
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and emerging recruiting technology
- Ability to manage systems, vendors, and multiple cross-functional initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Bias toward action and willingness to operate in ambiguity
- Natural inclination to create leverage, automate work, and make teams better
