Parallel is a web infrastructure company that enables leading businesses in sales, marketing, insurance, and coding to build best-in-class AI agents with flexible programmatic access to the web. The company has raised $230 million from top-tier VCs including Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia, Index Ventures, Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, First Round, and Terrain, and is currently valued at $2 billion.
As Parallel's first Recruiting Coordinator, you will own the scheduling and administrative operations of recruiting across all teams: Engineering, GTM, and G&A. Your responsibilities include building and managing interview loops across busy calendars and time zones, coordinating technical interviews, work samples, sales panels, and finance screens. You will maintain Ashby (the ATS) in real time, serve as the primary candidate contact from first screen through signed offer, collaborate with both technical and non-technical recruiting teams, handle onboarding logistics with the People team, and track recruiting metrics to keep hiring managers and leadership informed on pipeline status.
This is a foundational role—you will design how coordination works at Parallel rather than inherit an existing system. You'll treat every scheduling email as part of the candidate experience and handle compensation and offer details with discretion. The role requires proactive problem-flagging and a systems-oriented mindset to solve problems once rather than repeatedly.
Parallel operates fully in-person from its Palo Alto HQ and San Francisco office. The company is a flat, talent-dense organization with values centered on owning customer impact, obsessing over craft, accelerating change, creating win-wins, and making high-conviction bets.

- Experience managing complex scheduling across multiple time zones and busy calendars, including ability to reschedule multi-person panels on short notice
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to candidate experience in all communications
- Discretion and professionalism in handling compensation and offer information
- Systems-thinking mindset and proactive problem identification
