Salary: USD 100,000 - 160,000 / annual
Atoms is building Physical AI—real-world robots for industries that move civilization forward, starting with food, mining, and transport. The company integrates hardware, software, AI, operations, manufacturing, and real estate to deploy and scale robotic systems in real-world environments.
You will own full-cycle recruiting for Transport Operations roles, partnering directly with operations leadership to build teams that keep physical systems moving. This is a high-velocity hiring role requiring speed, rigor, and strong bar-setting standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end recruiting from intake through offer close for transport operations positions
- Partner with hiring managers and operations leads to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and develop hiring strategy
- Drive proactive sourcing using Indeed, Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networks, and referral pipelines to build deep candidate pools ahead of need
- Screen and assess candidates for operational competency and cultural fit, providing structured feedback and clear recommendations
- Design and iterate on interview processes to ensure they are structured, consistent, and predictive of on-the-job performance
- Negotiate and close offers in partnership with People and Finance teams on compensation benchmarking and approval workflows
- Track and report on pipeline health, funnel metrics, and time-to-fill; identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
- Represent Atoms's mission and culture authentically as often the first impression candidates have of the company
The role is based in the New York office with five-day-per-week onsite work.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Proven track record closing roles in transport operations, fleet management, last-mile delivery, or related functions with credibility in the ops hiring landscape
- Strong sourcing instincts; ability to find and engage candidates who aren't actively looking, not reliant on inbound
- Exceptional communication and influence skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders, push back when needed, and build trust across levels
- Data-driven approach to recruiting; track metrics that matter, identify trends, and use data to improve outcomes
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously while providing white-glove candidate experience
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Self-starter who builds process where needed and cuts it where it isn't
