Salary: USD 56,200 - 81,550 / annual

Moody's Ratings Operations Center is seeking a Ratings Operations Specialist II to provide comprehensive operational support for debt issuance transactions and portfolios in the global capital markets. In this role, you will review complex debt documents, pricing supplements, and rating-relevant provisions to support the credit rating assignment process. You'll apply established guidelines and procedures to evaluate issuances, determine qualification against defined criteria, and identify when additional analyst review is required. Key responsibilities include facilitating documentation collection, monitoring market developments via news wires and vendors, managing portfolio and issuer relationships, researching and escalating discrepancies, and interacting with issuers, investors, and intermediaries to provide timely responses. You will develop working knowledge of financial instruments, rating policies, and market practices while demonstrating flexibility in managing competing priorities. The role requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You should have solid analytical and research capabilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to apply established procedures accurately. Prior experience reviewing financial and legal documentation is required. Familiarity with debt capital markets through coursework or work experience is preferred. You'll work within a collaborative team that partners closely with Rating Analysts, market participants, and operational teams to ensure timely, accurate credit rating activities. This position offers exposure to a broad range of fixed income instruments and global financial markets while contributing to operational excellence and informed decision-making.
