Classiq Technologies, a quantum software company headquartered in Tel Aviv, is seeking a Quantum Project Manager to lead complex quantum applications and IT projects from their Seoul office. You will report to the Country Manager, South Korea, and own end-to-end project delivery—from initial planning through implementation, acceptance, and deployment—ensuring all contractually binding deliverables are completed on time, within scope, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include defining project goals, deliverables, milestones, and schedules across multiple initiatives; managing the full project lifecycle including scope, resource allocation, and risk mitigation; and establishing clear project governance with detailed delivery plans. You will identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and ensure accountability across all workstreams using industry-standard tools (Gantt charts, milestone tracking, risk registers, resource planning).
You will serve as the central point of ownership for project execution, coordinating with diverse stakeholders: the Country Manager, local and regional technical teams, product and R&D teams, the internal project management office in Tel Aviv, partners, and customers in South Korea. Regular communication includes status updates, technical demos, and escalations to leadership. You will represent Classiq at industry events, workshops, and academic venues, presenting project outcomes.
Continuous improvement is core to the role—you will monitor project KPIs (schedule adherence, deliverable quality, stakeholder engagement) and integrate emerging methodologies in project management, application development, and quantum software development.
Required qualifications: native-level Korean and professional English fluency; bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or similar; 3+ years of project/program management experience in high-tech or deep-tech environments; solid understanding of quantum computing or demonstrated capability to learn quantum algorithms; and experience working with research or software teams and public/private partnerships. Excellent communication skills are essential for translating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Bonus qualifications include MSc or PhD in Quantum Computing, PMP certification, and experience implementing Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies in software development.
