Classiq Technologies, a quantum software company headquartered in Tel Aviv, is seeking a Quantum Application Engineer to lead quantum applications and IT projects from their Seoul office. You will report to the Country Manager, South Korea, and own the full project lifecycle—from initial planning through implementation, acceptance, and deployment—ensuring all contractual deliverables are completed on time, within scope, within budget, and to quality standards.
You will manage complex quantum applications at the intersection of advanced quantum technology, enterprise IT, and customer delivery. Key responsibilities include defining project goals, deliverables, milestones, and schedules; owning scope management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation; and establishing clear project governance with detailed delivery plans, risk registers, and accountability mechanisms.
You will coordinate with multiple stakeholders: the Country Manager, local and regional technical teams, product and R&D teams, the internal project management team in Tel Aviv, partners, and customers in South Korea. You serve as the central point of ownership for project execution, ensuring effective communication, timely escalation, stakeholder alignment, and successful delivery.
Key activities include project planning and execution using industry-standard tools (Gantt charts, milestone tracking, resource planning); stakeholder engagement through regular updates, technical demos, and representation at industry events and academic venues; and continuous improvement by monitoring project KPIs and integrating emerging methodologies in project management and quantum software development.
You bring native-level Korean and professional English fluency, a Bachelor's degree (or advanced) in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or similar, and 3+ years of project/program management experience in high-tech or deep-tech environments. You have a solid understanding of quantum computing or high motivation to learn quantum algorithms, and experience working with research or software teams and public/private partnerships. Bonus qualifications include an MSc or PhD in Quantum Computing, PMP certification, or Lean Six Sigma experience.
