Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced technology, AI, autonomy, and computer vision. The Quality Systems Engineer will join Anduril's Australia Quality organization to define and execute scalable processes that deliver reliable products meeting mission requirements.
Key responsibilities include managing execution of the Quality Management System (QMS) and its top-level processes; partnering with development teams to ensure new products meet QMS requirements; becoming a systems expert for Anduril's quality tools, processes, and datasets; defining and improving required documentation and activities; working across the organization to define and execute requirements; communicating with external audit agencies and supporting customer audits; managing the QMS internal auditor process and participating as an internal auditor; identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities; supporting investigations, initiatives, and projects at team or organizational level; developing QMS training modules and facilitating training records; and driving root cause analysis and corrective action from audit findings and customer visits.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or 3+ years of aerospace/defense manufacturing experience; expert knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in complex product environments (ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, AS9110C, AS9120B, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 13485:2016, TL 9000 R6.3); working knowledge of design, development, manufacturing, supply chain, deployment, and contracts; knowledge of ERP, PLM, and BI systems; experience communicating with all organizational levels and external parties; strong ownership mindset with demonstrated project management capability; and NV-2 security clearance eligibility.
Preferred qualifications include ISO 9001 or AS9100 aerospace auditor certification and experience with low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing. The role offers competitive equity grants and comprehensive benefits.
