The Quality Specialist, Vendor Compliance role is responsible for managing supplier-level food safety, traceability, and quality programs to ensure compliance with OLIPOP's rigorous quality standards. This position serves as a critical link between suppliers and internal cross-functional teams, ensuring that ingredient sourcing and vendor management meet both regulatory requirements and company standards.
Key responsibilities include:
**Supplier Management & Documentation**
- Maintain comprehensive supplier approval records, ingredient documentation, and compliance files to support supplier qualification and ongoing quality programs
- Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, R&D, and Regulatory teams to execute supplier onboarding, vendor approvals, and ingredient change management
- Evaluate suppliers and ingredients using risk-based assessments; implement controls, monitoring activities, and preventative measures
**Compliance & Quality Assurance**
- Execute food safety and traceability programs at the supplier level
- Ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance across the supplier network
- Support supplier quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
