Lightspeed is seeking a Quality Specialist II to join their Manila-based team in a fully remote role. You will own quality assurance activities within an agile squad, partnering closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality feature delivery and customer experiences.
Key responsibilities include: leading QA activities and serving as a quality subject matter expert for your team's domain; developing and maintaining regression test coverage for new and existing functionality; designing and executing comprehensive test plans covering boundary, edge-case, and end-to-end scenarios; investigating defects using troubleshooting techniques and monitoring tools; promoting quality best practices across teams; supporting release planning by assessing testing progress and identifying risks; and partnering with automation teams to expand automated test coverage.
You will work with platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, and Intercom, and should have experience with bug tracking systems, Agile methodologies, and testing high-availability web applications across test, staging, and production environments. Experience with API testing tools like Postman and understanding of integration and contract testing is advantageous.
