Daymark Health, a value-based oncology company, is seeking a Quality & Safety Manager to build and scale its clinical quality and safety program as the company expands into new markets. This role owns the systems, protocols, and metrics that ensure Daymark's personalized cancer care platform—delivered through a hybrid in-person and virtual model—meets rigorous safety and quality standards.
You will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day quality assurance, supporting audits, conducting incident investigations and root-cause analyses, and developing real-time metrics and reporting for clinical and executive leadership. You'll work across Daymark's distributed care model, ensuring protocols hold up whether care is delivered in patients' homes, via video visits, or through provider partner groups.
Key responsibilities include: reviewing and updating quality and safety protocols and documentation standards; mapping the regulatory landscape across Daymark's markets and lines of business; enhancing incident logging and triage processes; implementing a quality metrics dashboard for leadership; delivering staff training on safety protocols and risk management; and serving as the point person for external audits, regulatory reviews, and incident investigations.
You'll partner closely with the VP of Clinical Operations and VP of Oncology Nursing & Supportive Care to embed quality and safety into daily clinical workflows rather than treating them as post-hoc compliance layers. This is a hybrid role reporting to the VP of Nursing and Supportive Care, with expected travel to markets to support quality standard adherence.
Required: bachelor's degree in a related technical or clinical field; 3–5+ years in quality assurance, compliance, or safety management; at least 2 years in a supervisory or program-ownership capacity; healthcare experience required. Preferred: cancer quality and safety experience; experience navigating accrediting body audits. You bring investigative rigor, a builder mindset, comfort with change and ambiguity, and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
