The Quality Operations Coordinator supports the Quality Operations Director in delivering operational excellence across PACE market operations through comprehensive record review and audit management.
The role focuses on ensuring complete and accurate participant medical records through data collection, electronic health record (EHR) auditing using quality improvement tools, regulatory compliance reporting, and documentation validation. Key responsibilities include maintaining audit trackers, document inventories, evidence logs, and submission records; coordinating audit meetings, readiness activities, and interviews; collecting and organizing audit deliverables; performing document quality reviews to verify proper naming, organization, and version control; and supporting mock audits, training sessions, and departmental outreach.
The position requires strong organizational skills, healthcare knowledge, and technical proficiency. Candidates should have minimum two years of healthcare experience (PACE experience preferred) and either an Associate's degree or three years of equivalent work experience. The role demands comfort with varied schedules including nights and weekends, occasional travel for onsite business needs, and extensive proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data gathering. Health Information Management expertise and the ability to interpret and apply healthcare policies are essential.
