Salary: USD 110,000 - 160,000 / annual

As a Quality Engineer for New Product Introduction (NPI), you will own the quality requirements review and compliance process for new customer onboarding. Your primary responsibilities include mapping customer quality requirements, performing gap assessments against Hadrian's current capabilities, and developing new processes and systems to meet unmet requirements. You will work closely with the automation team to integrate customer quality processes into Hadrian's automation systems, acting as a project manager for customer and third-party audits while ensuring all pre-audit tasks are completed and post-audit action items are documented.
You will drive data-driven process improvements based on quality specifications and customer flowdowns, develop and refine the Quality Management System to meet industry benchmarks, and create quality plans and protocols in collaboration with quality and manufacturing teams. Additionally, you will serve as a product owner for quality-related automation tools, ensuring they meet customer-specific requirements, production system needs, and industry standards. You will develop standards for customer-specific quality documentation including process maps, control plans, and standard operating procedures.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of quality engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or defense manufacturing. You should have awareness of lean principles and continuous improvement methodology, experience with complex quality specifications and customer flowdowns, and in-depth knowledge of AS9100 standards. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes with focus on quality-related tasks (inspection processes, AS9102 FAIR, source inspections) is essential. Project management skills and cross-functional team experience are required. Preferred qualifications include Six Sigma Green Belt certification, grasp of Design for Manufacturability fundamentals, and experience coordinating industry and customer audits.
