As a Quality Engineer II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our enterprise-scale banking platform. You will develop and maintain comprehensive test case repositories, execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and system testing across our digital banking, account opening, and branch solutions. You will identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, participate in root cause analysis with developers, and develop and maintain automated test suites with a focus on component failure testing.
You will work on an API-first architecture serving real-world financial institutions, with opportunities to adopt and shape AI-assisted software engineering practices. The role offers exposure to enterprise systems with genuine impact on how banks and credit unions serve their customers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Approximately 3 years of experience in manual and automation testing
- Experience creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, regression, and performance testing
- Must have experience testing client-server interactions
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and REST clients
- Familiarity with Practitest and Playwright tools
- Ability to analyze logs and error messages
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience deriving metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and quality metrics by creating dashboards
