Standard Nuclear is building the essential infrastructure for America's nuclear renaissance. The Quality Engineer role supports the company's quality management system by ensuring manufacturing processes, materials, and products meet internal and regulatory quality standards.
This is a hands-on engineering position within a regulated manufacturing environment. The Quality Engineer works closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement quality controls, investigate nonconformances, and drive continuous improvement across production operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement quality controls to ensure manufacturing processes consistently meet product specifications and regulatory requirements
- Lead root cause investigations for nonconformances, process deviations, and quality events
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and verify effectiveness
- Support inspection and verification activities across production
- Maintain compliance with NQA-1 and other applicable regulatory and industry quality standards
- Drive process improvements to strengthen product quality and operational reliability
- Help scale manufacturing operations safely and efficiently
