Voyager Technologies is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer I to support the product development lifecycle for space, defense, and national security technologies. In this role, you will work with cross-functional engineering and development teams to ensure products comply with Voyager's Quality System, industry standards (ISO 9001, AS9100), and customer-specific requirements. Key responsibilities include: - Support quality program requirements including managing deviations, waivers, change management, nonconformances (NCRs), vendor quality management, and quality reporting - Collaborate with teams on quality, risk management, safety, and reliability initiatives - Monitor quality specifications, processes, and engineering best practices to ensure mission success - Participate in continuous improvement by developing process monitoring and measurement techniques - Conduct internal audits to assure compliance with customer requirements, company procedures, and ISO 9001/AS9100 standards - Work with project teams to devise and implement assembly, integration, inspection, testing, and validation procedures - Coordinate with engineering teams to document and implement part/material qualification plans - Assist in failure analysis, root cause determination, and corrective action implementation - Engage in product development activities to ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory/international standards You will be hands-on, regularly interact with multiple technical disciplines, and work across various applications and systems at different development stages. The role requires adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with minimal direction when needed. Required qualifications: 1+ years in engineering, R&D, or manufacturing; B.S. in a technical/engineering/science field; experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management systems; ability to read technical drawings and specifications; strong teamwork and communication skills.
