As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will oversee all aspects of quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This is a contract-to-full-time hire role with 2 open positions.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance processes and procedures; collaborating with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, designers) to understand requirements and incorporate QA into project plans; defining and executing test strategies for new features and releases using both manual and automated testing methodologies; establishing key performance metrics and quality indicators to measure QA effectiveness; conducting regular audits and reviews of QA processes for compliance with industry standards; managing the QA environment and testing infrastructure; investigating and troubleshooting customer and internal issues in collaboration with development teams; staying current with industry trends and emerging QA technologies; and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team.
You should have strong command of product testing and accessibility testing tools, with knowledge of Playwright and advanced AI testing tools preferred. Experience with automated testing tools, test management platforms (Jira, TestRail, HP ALM), and automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium) is essential. You will lead QA initiatives and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.
