Blank Street, a fast-growing F&B brand, is seeking a Quality Assurance & Control Auditor to join their US Quality Assurance Team based in New York City. Reporting to the US Senior QA Manager within the global compliance and safety function, you will be responsible for ensuring brand consistency, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across Blank Street's US store locations.
Key responsibilities include independently conducting Quality Control and Quality Assurance audits across US stores to the highest standards, coaching store teams to consistently pass Department of Health inspections with top scores, and leading incident and accident investigations to identify root causes and develop corrective action plans. You will drive compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, health & safety standards, and other regulatory requirements.
You will also provide coaching and field training to support continuous improvement, help develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to foster operational excellence, and ensure all SOPs remain current and accessible. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in hospitality, retail, or consumer brand auditing and training, with familiarity with US food safety and health code frameworks (NYC DOHMH, Boston BPHC, DC Health) being a plus. You are practical, organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. You have a 'get things done' mindset, are comfortable working some evenings and weekends, and are adaptable and flexible. You approach change with a firm but fair team-first mentality and have a hunger to learn and develop.
