Slide Insurance is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality assurance operations across an assigned portfolio. You will manage QA capacity, priorities, and delivery commitments while leading and developing a team of Quality Analysts through coaching, training, feedback, and performance management. Key responsibilities include: **Quality Leadership & Delivery**: Manage QA team capacity and assignments, lead Quality Analysts through coaching and performance management, review and approve test strategies and documentation, and provide release-readiness recommendations with risk escalation. **Testing & Quality Oversight**: Apply enterprise testing standards and methodologies across projects, monitor testing progress and defect trends, lead defect prioritization and resolution across business and technology teams, and ensure testing records meet audit, compliance, and internal control requirements. **Collaboration & Continuous Improvement**: Partner with Product, Engineering, Project Management, and business teams on testing scope and release planning, implement enhancements to testing processes and automation practices, and identify opportunities to improve quality and delivery outcomes. Required qualifications: 5+ years of software QA or testing experience in insurance, technology, financial services, or regulated industries; 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and performance; software testing or QA certification; strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, defect management, and SDLC; experience managing testing against quality standards and audit requirements; proven ability to analyze quality metrics and business risk; strong communication and stakeholder management skills; proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, business, insurance, or related field.
