OXIO is a telecom-as-a-service (TaaS) platform that democratizes telecom access for brands and enterprises. The company enables organizations to build and operate proprietary mobile networks through a cloud-based SaaS platform that combines multiple existing networks into a single managed interface, while providing business intelligence on customer and machine-to-machine (M2M) behavior.
The QA Tester will take ownership of the engineering QA function, serving as a hands-on quality assurance professional and release manager. This is a cross-functional role working directly with Product Managers and Software Engineers to ensure products meet the highest quality standards before market release.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating, maintaining, and executing comprehensive test cases for software products
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting defects with clear, concise reports
- Collaborating with development and product teams to understand requirements and designs
- Designing and developing automated tests for software products
- Reviewing and providing feedback on software design specifications and documentation
- Ensuring compliance with international quality standards and regulations
- Performing both manual and automated testing
- Providing stakeholder reports on software quality
- Onboarding new QA tools to improve team efficiency
The role requires a hands-on approach with a passion for learning new skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Experience with testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and defect reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
- Excellent documentation skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and release processes
NICE TO HAVE:
- Previous experience in a SaaS company
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
- Experience working in B2B2C environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with performance testing and load testing
