Pico is a global financial services company providing market data services and managed infrastructure solutions to the capital markets community. The company operates offices in New York, Chicago, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, with a team expanding in Krakow. The QA Engineering team is responsible for ensuring the quality of Pico's high-performance, real-time market data, order entry, and trading application products. This role involves delivering innovative, automated testing solutions to verify accuracy, performance, functionality, stress, resilience, and use case validation across the company's enterprise product suite. As a QA Engineer, you will work within agile software development teams to test new product features and ensure the quality of industry-leading financial and enterprise core products. Your primary responsibilities include: • Ensuring the quality of industry-leading financial and enterprise core product features • Working within an agile software development lifecycle to test new product features • Using scripting and programming skills to automate tests using an in-house automation test framework You will be based in the Krakow office (with an option to work from Hyderabad) and will be part of a team passionate about quality. The role involves functional testing and test automation, with exposure to high-performance trading systems and enterprise Linux-based products. Working Arrangements: This is a hybrid position with weekly time in the office and flexibility to work from home. Travel may be required from time to time but is not expected to be regular or frequent. The role involves working across multiple jurisdictions and geographies (EMEA, USA, APAC), which may require flexible hours. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or similar field • Minimum 3 years of test engineering experience, preferably with enterprise products based on Linux and scripting languages • Proficiency with Python programming and shell scripting (required) • Ease with Linux/Unix operating systems • Functional understanding of Cloud environments (desirable but not required) • C and/or Java programming (listed as a requirement) • Strong communication and teamwork skills
