The RUN QA department is an international team (EMEA, AMER, APAC) of approximately twenty testing experts in full growth. The team is responsible for testing assurance across all ongoing projects, working closely with project managers to ensure test plans, test scripts, and testing-related documents align with business objectives and quality standards. The team is hands-on with a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to think holistically about implementations.
In this role, you will report to the QA Manager and be responsible for managing business process and acceptance testing of projects to ensure new and upgraded systems are fit for purpose and meet defined business expectations and quality standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of the business functionality of Ivalua's solution through existing NRT scenarios
- Design and execute test automation activities, including test planning, test case analysis, test environment setup, script development, script enhancement, test execution, monitoring, result analysis, and defect reporting
- Develop automated test scripts for client-provided scenarios using Playwright or other automation tools as determined by Ivalua, with ownership of test planning and execution
- Perform manual and regression testing efforts as required
- Provide ongoing support for test automation, monitor and analyze test execution results, investigate failures, and raise R&D requests through the Extranet when required
- Provide regular updates to the manager on planning, status, staffing, progress, and daily/weekly activities
- Drive continuous improvements in technical adaptation, performance, robustness, and new scenario ideas

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software automation testing with knowledge of all phases of software testing, ideally in a Windows environment
- Experience using various automation testing tools for test execution and analysis
- Test automation tool experience such as Playwright (big plus)
- Strong proficiency in at least one of: TypeScript, JavaScript
- Solid understanding of debugging techniques for flaky or unreliable tests
- Experience leading code reviews and mentoring junior QA engineers on automation best practices
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of or practical experience in building AI agents and working with Claude
- BE/BTech or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field (or foreign equivalent); procurement domain is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of SRM, Supply Chain, Procurement (big plus)
