The Exploration Company is building innovative aerospace technologies for space transportation. You will join the propulsion team as a Propulsion Data & Modeling Engineer, responsible for developing analysis, post-processing, and prediction tools that support testing and design activities for the Nyx spacecraft propulsion system. You will bridge the gap between design and hardware testing, working closely with design and testing teams to ensure seamless integration and validation of propulsion subsystems. You will report to the Propulsion Development Models Principal Engineer. During the design phase, you will work with pressure and feed system engineers to define test setup configurations, conduct fluid modeling and analyses to verify test rig representativeness against flight systems, support creation of test plans, design propulsion analysis tools, and collaborate on anchoring fluidic models against test data. During the testing phase, you will provide on-site support during propulsion test campaigns, perform real-time analysis of test parameters, conduct pre-test and post-test reviews, elaborate test reports, update and correlate fluidic models based on results, and provide actionable insights on key performance indicators and critical scenarios. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline - 3+ years of related experience in complex fluid systems, fluidic modeling, data analysis, and data post-processing - Strong engineering fundamentals in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and combustion principles - Proficiency in Python for fluid analyses, data post-processing, and model anchoring - Experience with EcosimPro (or similar software) for high-fidelity numerical twin analysis - Proficiency in conducting fluid analyses using classical hand calculations - Excellent collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork - Fluency in English - Assets: familiarity with test facilities, storable propulsion systems, or cryogenic fluidic systems experience - Strong oral and written communication, analysis, problem-solving, and organizational skills - Team player with proactive mindset and positive, flexible attitude
