Pulley supports major brands like J.Crew, Solidcore, and Hibbett Sports, as well as data center buildouts and EV charging networks.
As a Project Manager, Permitting, you will serve as the critical link between Pulley's clients and the complex permitting landscape across 19,000+ jurisdictions. You'll manage multiple permitting projects simultaneously, ensuring each hits key milestones and progresses smoothly through regulatory approval processes.
Key responsibilities include: developing deep expertise in local permitting rules and building codes across various markets; acting as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through intricate approval processes; building and maintaining strong relationships with municipal staff to accelerate approval timelines; overseeing multiple projects concurrently while anticipating and resolving permitting roadblocks; and collaborating with internal product, engineering, and leadership teams to continuously improve Pulley's platform and client experience.
You'll need 6+ years of professional experience in architecture, construction, or permitting, with demonstrated involvement in various permitting processes. Strong familiarity with local building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting procedures is essential. Excellent communication skills and talent for building relationships with both clients and municipal officials are critical. Technical proficiency with relevant software tools and adaptability in learning new systems are required. This role is based in Tennessee and requires in-office presence.
