You will join the New Ventures team as Project Manager, owning the end-to-end launch and scaling of OpenUp's new on-site PMO (Preventief Medisch Onderzoek) offering—a preventative health check conducted by OpenUp lifestyle doctors. This is a full commercial go-to-market role spanning strategy, sales, and execution.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and own the 3–6 month strategy: set targets, monitor progress, and adjust as needed
- Drive commercial growth by leading marketing and sales efforts, closing new client deals, and training the Commercial team to sell PMO independently
- Execute on-site PMOs end-to-end, managing planning, logistics, client coordination, medical expert scheduling, participant communications, reporting, and feedback
- Translate client feedback into product and process improvements; partner with the Product team to build enhancements into the platform
- Build scalable playbooks and processes so other teams can run PMO autonomously; work with Recruitment to expand the medical expert pool
You will report to the Head of New Ventures (Commercial leadership) and collaborate closely with medical experts and HQ teams. The role is based in Amsterdam with a minimum 3 days per week in the office at Kalverstraat. You will work in both Dutch and English.
The PMO project is your first focus; once it runs at speed, additional projects will be added to your portfolio. You'll build on successful pilots and receive solid onboarding, regular coaching, and feedback from your manager.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in a fast-moving environment (scale-up, consultancy, or similar)
- Ability to operate independently and manage ambiguity in a dynamic setting
- Highly structured: strong planning, multi-client/project prioritization, early blocker identification
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; comfort with client interaction and cross-functional collaboration
- Proactive ownership mentality; ability to identify and execute on what needs doing
- Entrepreneurial mindset; ability to think on your feet and spot opportunities from client feedback
- Solid Excel skills (planning tools, pricing, margin analysis)
- Business-level Dutch and English; German a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites for on-site delivery oversight
