The Manufacturing Team builds cutting-edge defense hardware including static equipment, ground vehicles, and flight systems. The Industrial Engineering team optimizes manufacturing operations for innovation, high volume, and cost effectiveness across the product lifecycle.
In this Project Manager role, you will help define industrial engineering at Anduril's global scale, supporting efficiency improvements across end-to-end processes while introducing scale and resiliency into growing operations.
Key responsibilities include:
**Project Planning & Execution**: Define project scope, create schedules, and manage all phases from conception through completion. Develop and manage budgets, track costs, and ensure adequate staffing and resources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing engineering, operations, design engineering, business lines, and facilities to gather requirements, provide updates, manage expectations, and address concerns. Lead initiatives across Anduril sites to solve production issues, set up new facilities and production lines, and support deployment of Industrial Engineering standards globally.
**Data Analysis & Reporting**: Execute rapid analyses on short timelines to deliver quick answers while considering scalable long-term solutions. Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities. Facilitate data-driven decision-making through timely, accurate manufacturing information.
**Systems & Process Improvement**: Analyze best practices and develop standardization approaches across teams. Assist in documenting and standardizing business procedures and reporting protocols. Collaborate with digital tools teams to evaluate solutions improving industrial engineer efficiency (simulations, capacity plans, facility layouts). Support adoption tracking for new IE standards across distributed teams.
**Capacity Planning**: Work with space planning and capacity management teams to align product and facility plans with test plans. Develop playbooks and tactical plans for product facility moves.
Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering, data science, business, or related field. 2+ years manufacturing environment experience with focus on data analysis, program support, or process improvement. Strong analytical aptitude and data-modeling thinking. Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present complex data to diverse audiences. Self-starter, highly organized, resourceful, detail-oriented. Eligible to obtain and maintain active U.S. Secret security clearance.
